Our story
Vibras Bonitas began with memories of sewing alongside my grandmother — learning to slow down, work with my hands, and appreciate the beauty of handmade things. What started as a creative outlet rooted in embroidery and local pop-ups has grown into a studio space where handmade work, cultura, and community come together.
We’ve expanded to include hand-embroidered pieces, one-of-a-kind sewn goods, DIY kits, curated supplies and gifts, and workshops for both beginners and experienced makers.
Based in El Paso, Texas, Vibras Bonitas is deeply inspired by our borderland upbringing and the culture that shapes our community. We are a Latina-owned, first-generation business rooted in resilience, creativity, and the stories that come from building something of your own.
My passion for textile arts — shaped by watching my grandmother work on embroidery, sewing, and needlepoint — continues to guide the heart of Vibras Bonitas today. Every piece is made or selected with intention and care.
Meet the maker
Sandra is the creative mind behind Vibras Bonitas and one half of the magic at The Stitch House. Her love for sewing and crafts began early — making small projects with her grandmother, who taught her that creativity, patience, and a little trial-and-error go hand in hand.
Years later, she found her way back to embroidery during the slow return to normal after COVID-19, when a workshop reignited just how grounding and joyful creating by hand could be. What started as one project quickly grew into many — eventually shaping what is now Vibras Bonitas.
Born and raised in El Paso, Texas, Sandra co-founded The Stitch House alongside the business partner of Cushi Cushi 915, creating a collaborative studio space rooted in community and creativity. Alongside growing her creative business, Sandra also dedicates her time to nonprofit work — blending purpose and passion across both spaces.
